Objective
Rockers Team was approached with a request to help create an e-commerce platform with integrated video media service.
Our client is experienced in this area and produces web and mobile solutions for entrepreneurs to help them solve their difficulties in sales industry. They needed an equally proficient partner to transform their idea into reality.
Challenge
The project had to be done completely from scratch.
Our team had to come up with a way to create an e-commerce platform with an integrated video media service that would match all the client’s requests, such as video streaming and management tools, with an integrated marketplace for independent customers’ stores.
We had difficulties while developing integration with e-commerce API and synchronizing it with our custom video player.
We figured out that the best way to solve it would be by using our custom window-in-window service and connecting it with our seller’s console and configurable video player.
Solution
Our team completed all the development work, which included setting up the customer portal, enabling real-time messaging, video streaming, and the creation and publishing of video content tools, as well as developing the marketplace and the seller’s console (i.e., admin panel).
The project was developed from scratch over a period of four months.
Results
In just 4 months our team created an interactive e-commerce video Technology platform, that has video streaming and management tools, and an integrated marketplace for independent customers’ stores.
We did a great job implementing the client’s asked features and dealing with appearing troubles in time. We successfully accomplished a way of integrating all services into one fully maintainable platform.
